Nowadays, weddings are more than just a ceremony and exchanging vows. With the help of modern technology, we want to have beautiful memories of our most important day of our life. Some people consider photographers to be even more important than a priest. However, it’s not just the wedding photos that count. There is another trend that couples nowadays often do which is hiring a photographer for their proposal. For one couple, this turned out to be a nightmare, but for another a pleasant surprise.

Namely, one couple hired Jacob Peters to take photos of their proposal on a hiking trail, which he did but he did not take photos of that couple. Instead, he was confused by another couple who decided to do the same.
Jacob woke up early and went to the Hawkbill Craig trail, Wisconsin. He arranged the place with the couple over the phone, but when he arrived at the location he could not call them as there was no cell network. He decided to wait for them.
Then, at around 6 a.m. he saw the couple at the location and assumed it was the one that hired him. He saw the man who pulled out a ring, she accepted and then hugged him. The photographer was happy with what he managed to capture and believed he did his job properly.
Afterwards, he packed his equipment and returned down. Then, he texted the man and told him that he took beautiful photos. But, he received a reply message saying that they never saw him since they reached the location late. He told him that he took photos of another couple.
Jacob then realized that he spent 6 and a half hours, $40 worth of gas and took 450 photos from a couple he did not even know. But he didn’t want the photos and his effort to go to waste. He wanted to locate the couple using Facebook. Some people helped him and he finally found the couple.
They were delighted by the wonderful photos he took of their proposal. But I can only imagine how the other man felt as he did not even get what he wanted.
