Lies spread faster than the truth

November 30, 2020 by Useful Gen

Don’t be so quick to believe what you hear because lies spread faster than the truth.

If you didn’t see it with your own eyes, or hear it with your own ears, don’t invent it with your small mind and share it with your big mouth!

A lie can travel around the world and back again while the truth is lacing up its boots. —Mark Twain.

Gossip dies when it hits a wise person’s ears.

The truth may hurt for a little while, but a lie hurts forever.

The truth is still the truth, even if no one believes it. A lie is still a lie, even if everyone believes it.

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
