Love is a mysterious and a wonderful thing. It is thought to have the ability to move mountains. Even though we all have a different definition on love, we can agree that it is powerful enough to make hearts speak and strengthen relationships with others. Where there is infinitive love, there is no need of verbal communication. Love is a much stronger connection that does not require words. But, emotional blockages such as suffering, judgment, heartache, illness, isolation, fear and pain might prevent us from loving someone unconditionally. 15 steps to opening your heart
1. Establish a connection with nature
There is no pain, confusion or chaos in nature. You can only find love and peace. Once you establish a deeper connection with nature and its creatures you can start opening up your heart. Nature is where you let go of negative thoughts and learn how to appreciate the present moment.
2. Stay in the present moment
If you want to align with your higher self, you need to stay in the present moment and focus on your breathing. Once you master this step, you can open up your heart to love. Enjoying the present moment makes you feel better and improves the way you look at things.
3. Be still
Don’t allow everyday activities interrupt your inner peace. If you are still you will learn how to get detached from the chaos and take a better look at everything that is going on around you. One example of practicing stillness is meditation. Once you see that your thoughts are not who you are, your heart will feel safer to open up and start to love.
4. Do something you love
When we do things we love, time flies by. And, if you try to do things you love more often, you will get through the days without even feeling tired. If your daily activities are something you enjoy doing, your soul will get the energy it needs which will result with more love in your heart.
5. Honor your breath
Every breath you take gives you the power and force to live the present moment. When you feel tired or chaotic, take a few deep breaths and focus on them. This will help you reconnect with your soul and remember who you are.
6. Connect with your tribe
Your tribe can be the people who see you without any judgment, whether they are family members or friends. You have the same frequency with these people which provides you with a feeling of safety and comfort. This will help your heart open up and stay balanced with your soul.
7. Practice color therapy
The aid of visualization can do wonders in providing your aura with harmony, balance and self-healing. Find a quiet place, make yourself comfortable, take deep breaths and visualize the first color that comes in your mind.

If you want to heal you need to listen to your heart. Set some time for yourself during the day and pay attention to what your soul and heart tell you. This quiet place of surrender should be the place where you find safety.
14. Follow your bliss
If you follow your heart, you are also following your bliss. Your bliss is the passion that pushes you towards your life purpose. No matter what passion you have, it always has love in its core. The shortest way to finding yourself and finding love is following your bliss.
15. Practice unconditional love
Unconditional love is impossible without respect or honor. It also involves loving people with all their indifference, weaknesses or shortcomings. But you should never let people use it as a way to take advantage of you. First show them you have enough respect for yourself to forbid anyone from abusing you.
