10 reasons Why You Should Never Mess With An Empath

by

Empaths are people who are very connected with their feelings and that link is so strong they can even sense other people’s emotions. They can sense things 10 times stronger than regular people. If you are also an empath, you might have noticed that your sensitivity to your surroundings can often feel overwhelming. Empaths are extremely sensitive to negative people because they can absorb that negative energy making it difficult for them to go back to normal.

Besides from getting affected by other people’s negativity, empaths can easily see through other peoples bullsh*t. You should never mess with an empath and these are the 10 reasons why.

1.You can never lie to them

Empaths can easily see through lies and deception and they are very fast at figuring out whether you are lying to them. They might not be certain about it but they will doubt until they find out the truth. Hearing lies makes them sense your discomfort and dishonesty.

2.They can see through your mask

This is similar to the previous power, so it is never a good idea to pretend you are someone else in front of an empath. They can figure it out easily and will call you out on your bluff. This kind of behavior will never go well with an empath because they are much wiser than regular people and can notice when someone has bad intentions.

3.Sarcasm does not go well with empaths

Dishonest people who don’t mean what they say will often try to flatter you just to get on your good side. But this will never work with an empath because they will sense your intentions and you will never be able to fool them.

4.Don’t try to hide your hatred and jealousy

Empaths can also sense hatred and can easily detect jealousy. Never pretend in front of an empath by trying to convince them you have moved on, because you will not succeed in that.

5.Empaths can read your prejudice just by looking at your face

There are racist people as well as homophobes or other discriminative people, but they often pretend so well that it is difficult to figure out whether their support is honest. However, empaths can sense this dishonest behavior and will notice your prejudice without listening to a word you say.

6.Empaths know when you’re feeling down

Discussing your feelings is often difficult but it is perfectly fine if you want to keep them just for yourself. However, empaths will see that you are going through difficulties no matter how hard you try to cover up your sadness.

7.They know when you’re holding back

Some people feel they are giving their best in a situation, but empaths can notice whether you have more potential to invest in a certain task. They will also motivate you to work harder because they want to see you succeed.

8.They sense self-destructive behavior

No matter what the reason is, empaths can notice self-destructive behavior. They can easily notice whether someone is trying to pretend to be a victim or when someone is wearing a bravery mask while they are breaking from inside.

9.They know when you’re pretending

Just like they are able to sense lies and deception, empaths can also sense when you are pretending. Your mask will never be good enough for them and they will easily sense your true self without you even showing it.

10.Empaths can detect selfishness

The last and also very important point, empaths are very good at detecting selfishness and people who are using others to achieve their goals. You will never be able to trick an empath into doing something for you without being open and honest about it. They will know that you have hidden intentions and you will only push them away. Being honest with an empath is a much better idea because they tend to be very generous and helpful.
